Week of March 3: minor main page update (headline). I may be taking a couple weeks off to attend to other business, so few if any site updates are planned.

Week of February 18: most of the main page was updated (new headlines, picture, quote, song). Updated Deep Thoughts page. New blog topic(s) started but will post in a later update.
Week of February 11: a few headline changes, new picture, new hit counter (in prep for the 1and1 server updates), updated Deep Thoughts page.
Week of February 4: closed the bulletin board (it wasn't really being used and kind of sucked anyway) and changed associated links. Updated Deep Thoughts Weekly page. New blog posting and slight reorganization of that section on the main page. New quote. A "Happy Birthday" to my mom on the main page (2/10).
Week of January 28: new main page pic, new song, Deep Thoughts page update, some main page headlines changed.
Week of January 21: full main page update with new MP3 song, new quote, new banter, new main page pic. AJ picture update for November & December, along with Isabella and Rory Christmas pictures. Also added this page as log file for viewing.
Week of January 14: reorganized the Deep Thoughts Page into a somewhat more logical date fashion. Added an update in the NEWS section (Leon). Also signed up for a true blog via Wordpress.com though no new info has been added to it just yet...
Week of January 7: full main page update with "resolution" (below), added a new MP3 Song, created new bloglike banter, new quote, new main page picture plus various other small additions.
Week of December 31/January 1: added a few new calendar items, fixed a couple things on the Pictures page.
2008 Plans for this site
With the new year comes people making "resolutions", which of
course usually just end up being an empty promise made to yourself. For
that reason I don't really believe in making them, but I may have found one that
is quite attainable. My resolution is to do at least one thing each and
every week with this site. It may be very minor (such as a new quote),
major (like new pages or redesign), but odds are the efforts will fall somewhere
in between. The problem is that whenever I go to update I want to do a
huge one...which of course takes a lot of time...that's not always ideal...thus
the site doesn't get updated that often. Small bits each week will have a
big impact on the site later this year. Perhaps by 2009 mcgonigal.org
becomes more than just a personal page? We'll see...
I did start already - last week I fixed a couple small site errors, nothing on the main page so the date didn't change. From here on out I'll mention recent changes, fixes, adds, etc. so you know where to look for the latest content.
I'm also thinking about starting a blog - a real blog, not just the occasional stuff posted on this site. I enjoy writing and this would be a good way to keep active with that hobby. If so, I may slightly redesign this main page and use links to the postings in the "bloglike banter" section vs. the actual text. A benefit to blogs is that it gives people a chance to comment back on some of my rants!
