2010 Efficiency Ratings
Cumulative rankings are weighted 3/4 for scored/potential % and 1/4 winning %:
((Points Scored / Potential Team Points % * 3) + Winning %) / 4
Weekly Rankings for penalties are still figured on the standard scored vs. potential % method.
The concept is that high efficiency should at least equate somewhat to success, thus the 25% modifier for winning percentage. A losing team that manages to play the right players on their squad could rank lower than someone who leaves many points on the bench but keeps winning.
